Hotel
The Annual Meeting
will be held at the historic Camino Real Hotel in downtown El
Paso. Rooms are $89 single or
double occupancy, and additional occupants will be charged $15
person/per night. Rooms are subject to a per room/per night
room tax (currently 15.5%). The conference rate is good the
nights of Wednesday, May 24 to Sunday, May 28. Room reservation
deadline is April 25, 2006. Contact the Camino Real at
101 South El Paso Street, El Paso, TX 79901; phone (915)
534-3000 or (800) 769-4300 and tell them you are with the SSA
meeting. Parking is $3 per day and is located underneath the
hotel.
Getting Here
El Paso is serviced by
many major airlines, and the Camino Real Hotel offers a courtesy
airport shuttle. Use the courtesy
phone in the baggage claim area to be picked up.

From points east
(including the El Paso International Airport): Take
Interstate 10 West and get off at Exit 19B (Downtown/Convention
Center). Continue straight on Missouri Avenue and turn left at
Mesa Street. After four blocks, turn right on Mills Avenue and
you’ll see the hotel in front of you after one block (at the
corner of Mills and El Paso Street).
From points west:
Take Interstate 10 East and get off at Exit 19
(Downtown/Convention Center). Continue straight on Wyoming
Avenue and turn right on Mesa Street. After four blocks, turn
right on Mills Avenue and you’ll see the hotel in front of you
after one block (at the corner of Mills and El Paso Street)
